About Craps
Craps is a dice game that is popular in casinos and among home players. The main goal is to predict the outcome of two six-sided dice rolls. Players place bets on various combinations of numbers that will appear after the roll, or on whether the main player (the shooter) will win or lose at each stage of the game. The variety of bets available makes the game seem complex, but the basics are quite simple.
Rules of the game
The game begins with the shooter making a first roll, also called a "come-out roll". If a 7 or 11 is rolled, the bet on the "pass line" wins and the bet on 2, 3 or 12 loses (this is called "craps"). If any other number is rolled (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10), this becomes a "point". The shooter's goal now is to roll this point number again before rolling a 7. If successful, the "pass line" bet wins. If a 7 is rolled, the pass line bets are lost and the round ends. During the game, you can bet not only on the "pass line", but also on other outcomes. For example, bets "don't pass" and "don't come" are the opposite of "pass line" and "come" and win if the shooter rolls a 7 before the point number. There are also side bets on exact numbers, bets on exact combinations and much more.
