About Roulette

Classic roulette is a game in which participants place bets on numbers, colors, or groups of numbers on a special wheel and a gaming table. The roulette wheel is divided into 37 or 38 numbered sectors, depending on the type of roulette. In European roulette, there are 37 sectors, including the numbers 1 through 36 and one sector with a zero, and in American roulette, there are 38, because the “00” sector is added.

Rules of the game

Before starting to play roulette, players place their bets on the table. Bets can be internal or external. Inside bets are placed on specific numbers or small groups of numbers - for example, a bet on one number (Straight Up), a bet on two numbers (Split), three numbers (Street) and so on. Outside bets are placed on larger groups, such as color (red or black), even or odd numbers, and low or high numbers.

When all bets have been placed, the dealer launches the ball in the opposite direction to the wheel rotation. Players wait for the ball to land on one of the numbered sectors, and it is this sector that determines the winning number. If the player's bet matches the result, he receives a win according to the betting odds.

Payouts in roulette depend on the type of bet and correspond to the chance of winning. For example, a bet on a single number has a higher payout percentage, but the chance of winning is smaller than, for example, a bet on red or black.
